That Special Girl
I was chiiling with one of my friends and he was telling me about this girl he grew up with. Her name was Kilyah but everybody called her Mi-Mi. She was a sight to see. She was light skinned with long pretty hair. Her hair was extra long because she was mixed. Her father was black and her mother was from the coast of Puerto Rico. My friend Darnell was over my house and we was just discussing about how we both had dat special girl that we grew up with. Darnell said that every guy wanted her but she didn't want to mess with any of the hoodlums in the area she grew up. Her mother told her to find a special guy that would like her for who she was and not because how you look. Her father was also hard on her about bringing those type of guys in the household. Darnell also mentioned that she was very great in school, you know the typical smart girl. She made good grades in school, she was on the cheerleader squad, and she was very athletic so she played sports. Kilyah was the type of girl you dream about and wanted to marry one day. Darnell wanted me to see her for myself and so he introduced us after a football game. The meeting between me and her was something epic and special. She was everything my friend said and plus more. Darnell liked her too, but she didn't see him as a guy she would want to be with, but when me and her looked each other in the eyes, we had a vibe with each other. I hope that this move wouldn't draw a wedge between Darnell and I. Then one day, she made a move on me and we been feeling each other every since. I told my boy Darnell about it, he took it kind of hard because he wanted her too, but got over it because me and him been tight since kindergarten. So he was happy for me. But it was strange how my friend described this special girl to me and she ended up being with me.

I need a Vacation
Every since the summer started, i been ready to go on vacation. I graduated from high school and jus made the transition to a freshman year in college that I'm in enjoying so far. Don't get me wrong college is goin to have its ups and downs, but so far i feel like im in a neutral situation. I seem to have lost focus in my classess for some odd reason. I can't get back on the right track for nothing. I jus need to get away from school and work for awhile to get back in stride. A vacation sounds like a great rememdy for this, and I know the perfect place I wanna go for a vacation. Chicago is my place where I wanna go. It's a fun place to go and it's my second home. I haven't been up there in two years so I can't wait to go back up there. I use to always go up there when i got out of school for the summer, but i couldn't go this year because i had a job and my manager wouldn't let me go up there. So i was kind of hurt because this was the second year straight that i didn't go up there beacuse i didn't go the year before that as well. Everytime i go up there i hang with my family and friends. It's such many things you can do in Chicago for the summer to have fun. They have so many festivals you can attend and taste all of the food in Chicago its really exciting. They have a Six Flags Great America theme park for amusement. My brothers and I have so much fun when i come up there because we only see each other when i come up there. When i get out of school for the christmas break, imma ride the train and go up there 4 christmas. It is so cold in the winter time, I see why it's called the WINDY CITY. I love it though, and the snow be pretty white but it piles up to your knees. Jus sayin everything about my vacation spot which is also like homecoming to me makes me wish i was up there right now. I can't wait to go up there because I'm stressed out and I'm so tired.

Who To Look Up Too?
I got this friend named Santana who i basically grew up with as a young buck coming up. He sat me down and told me about his testimony and his childhold. It's been a while since we just kicked it as good friends and talked but i was back in town and we had a little time to reflect, discuss, and walk back down memory lanes. He told his past and i told him mines. My testimony was a little like his's but he was way much deeper. He told me that his father wasn't always there for him and that his parents divorced when he was like eight years old. Santana's father moved to Chicago and it was just young Santana his mother. He obeyed his mother very much but he didn't have that father figure to look up to that could teach him certain aspects from life a father could that a woman couldn't. So he told me that he use to hang around his older cousins alot because they were his father figures in his life since his father wasn't there. They turned him from a young kid to a man at a young age. He explained to hang with them he would have to do some things that young boys his age wouldn't do. Santana not having no father to look up to, he made a quick decision to be down with his big older cousins. Santana told me that half of his cousins were gang members, use to pick fights, run away from the law, hang with girls all night, and shot ball. The lifestyle was too fast for him to handle, so Santana's cousins gave him a choice rather to be with them or do his own thing? And Santana chose to run with his family. He learned alot from them and he gladly acknowledge how they were there for him when his daddy wasn't. Santana was very emotional when we discussed this.

Rap Beef
What is rap beef? To some, it's a personal vendetta between two rappers who have a different view on a different subject, and to others it's just a friendly rap battle between two rappers. Critics believe that most of the beef is just talk between both rappers to boost the sales of their albums before they release and hit the stores. Some beef really is personally between rappers, thier location of where they from, or misunderstanding of words heard in another rapper's rhymes. A couple of examples of real and fake rap beefs are like the ones between Ja Rule and 50 Cent. That was a personal beef becaue both rappers grew up in the same neighborhood of Southside Jamaica Queens in Queens, New York. Ja Rule hit the scene first and made an impact on the rap scene, while an up and comin rapper who was recently released from prison was ready to put an imprint on the game. Diss records went back and forward from both rappers until 50 cent gained the upper hand and put a silence on rapper Ja Rule and now Ja Rule is no longer revelant in the rap game and 50 Cent is making millions of dollars, movies, has a clothing line, video games, and a book. Another rap beef that was personal was between two legends in 2pac and Biggie Smalls. This beef was so major that the two rappers had both coast on their sides for 2pac he had the west coast and for biggie smalls he had the east coast. The rappers were close friends until the relationship fell apart and then the two became rival rappers. But tragically the legend rappers beef lead to a demise of both rappers been fatally shot on the passenger sides of cars. After two of the best rappers died, rappers have tried to come together and end the violence of rap beef and coming to peace amongst themselves. Rap beef still continues on today but now days they are just trying to prove who is more real between the two artists.
