It's Almost Over

Today marks the last day of school for me. The second semester of college is over for me ow I'm just waiting to take my final exam for my classes. I took one today in Pyschology 110 and turned in my final paper for English 102. I have to take a final exam in Math 101 at nine am so I have to look over some notes and get a good night rest. My next exam will be on tuesday of next week at eight am in Macro Economics. And i will wrap up taking final exams on thursday with my last exam in BA on thursday at ten forty five. After that i can start packing my clothes and everything else I brought into my dorm room and take it back home. It seems just like yesterday I was moving into the dorms now when next thursday and friday comes, I will move all my suff out and head home for the summer. I'm not going to school in the summer because I will be working hard, making oney, and balling out of control. I will return to USM in the next fall semester of 2009. I am so ready to get off campus and get back to the money and chill wit my folks and family. On the real, I don't want to leave all my homeboys and homegirls from school but we wiill stay in touch though. The phrase "Aint Nothing Like Home" is so true becuase I miss being at my house so bad it's crazy. I'm going to kick back and relax and think about all the good times I have had at school from going to the clubs, football and basketball games, and just chilling everyday with my click. We made ourselves known around the school and we just freshmen. So it's almost coming to end. I don't want it to but it is going to. "Like All Great Things, It Must Come To An End" I can't wait until we come back together and make new funny and great memories together.

A Look towards the Summer of 2009

I can't wait for school to be out for I can be done with school and get back to woring and making money. My senior year in high school, started in January I was working as a courtesy clerk at Kroger's. I was making a nice amout of money as I worked there. I put in seven months before I put in a two weeks notice saying that I would be leaving the grocery store to go to college. They liked me so much that they said whenever that I needed some work to just give them a call and I can work back there. This decision weighed really deeped in my head because when the summer hits, I want to be back working there. I can work that whole summer there and be saving my money up for when I return to USM for the next fall school year. But my neighbor across the street and I talked and he made me a very interesting offer that I will take a look at. My neighbor Mr.Kevin has his own business and told me that before I go bac to Kroger's to give him a call and he might have somthing for me. Since he is real cool and nice and he likes me alot I will take him up on this offer. I don't know what kind of business he has, but the pay could be a little better than what Kroger's have paid me in the past, but I'm uncertain at the moment. I'm looking at the situation like this, if his proposition is real nice, then I will work for im, but if not, I am going back to Kroger's. This summer is all about working hard, making and saving money, looking fly, chillin with the pretty girls, kicking it with family, and balling real hard this summer. I am really looking forward to this summer alot.

Boston Celtics Vs Chicago Bulls Playoff Series

The NBA defending champions are facing the Chicago Bulls in the first round of the playoffs. Everybody is projected that the Celtics will blow past the Bulls in the first round, but after seeing game 1 in the playoffs, the Bulls are not to be taken for granted. After an amazing performance from the Bulls sensational rookie Derrick Rose, former guard from Mempis University, that led the Tigers to the Final Four last year, put up a 36 point performance against the defending champs. The Bulls stole game one in "Bean-Town" a.k.a Boston. Derric Rose led the way and tied a historic landmark with hall of famer Kareem Abdul Jabar by most points by a rookie in his debut playoff game. The Big Three are down to tow because The Big Ticket Kevin Garnett who is the most important piece of the Celtics championship run is ot for the whole playoffs with a sprained knee, so the team have to face adversity with a key part of their offense gone and their anchor on defense out. Game two in Boston again went down to the wire with Ray Allen for the Celtics and Ben Gordan for the Bulls playing spectacular games. But it was Ray Allen who hit the game winning three to tie the series up1-1 in the best of seven series. Games three and four are in Chicago and the Bulls are very good wen playing at home. Well game three took place thursday night and it was all the Celtics. They won by 20 points and now lead the series 2-1. Game four is Sunday night in Chicago and i wonder what will happen? This is a very fast and fun series between the two teams.

A New Look

Just recently I changed up my style of fashion. Don't get me wrong I love the urban fashion, but now I jus transcended into the preppy look. Now it is all about the polo shirts and nice jeans or shorts. All around campus, mostly the guys are wearing collar shirts with the horse logo which is polo. I play both sides of the field now when it comes to dressing and looking fly. I still like to wear fresh designer jeans with the Air Jordans and fresh t-shirt with a couple fresh very expensive real chains of jewelry. But I was put on the Polo gear and made the decision to change my style up ASAP. At first I was like man im going to do my own thing and stay true to fashion, which I always do. Then it hit me that I can add this to make me be even more fly of a person. Then this preppy look fits my style and attitude because I'm smooth and mellow. I bought some fresh new polo shirts with the matching cargo old navy jeans and now its on. I bought some icy white air force ones to complete the outfits. I received a package from out of town of a pair of DC Villain shoes that are a real preepy boy look and they just fit the style so perfectly. I already get great love from people saying I be dressing fly and always rock the latest gear, but with these polo fits, cargo pants, and shoes I'm about to elevate my flyness to a brand new level. This new look really defines a person's character I think, so I'm glad that i decided to try this new look. So now the boy is about to be real fly and fresh.

Two Girls: Which One To Choose?

This past week i met and started talking to two girls. One of them is name Nesha and the other one name is Jessica. Nesha and I have a psychology class together and we just really now started to talking to each other. I heard from the grapevine that she has always liked me every since the second semester started. I really didn't notice her like that until now. I mean i saw her in the class and I was like damn who is that girl??????? She is fine with a body on her. Now that I really got a chance to talk and get to know her better she seems real nice and cool. To be honest I like kicking it and chilling with her. Now Jessica on the other hand, lets just say I'm still to figure her out. She seems kind of soft spoken and rigid, but she is a ok girl I guess. This past week was my first time ever seeing around the school campus. So exchanged numbers and started texting and seeing each other to build up a friendship. So far, that is going decently but there is still more getting to know each other to be done. But me and Nesha is like real cool and I found out that she likes me and has been checking me since the beginning of the second semester in class. Now since im fresh out a relationship with my ex, I can move forward and start fresh, but in saying that I'm not looking for a another girlfriend or anything. Im just going to take it easy and talk to one of these girls or both well at least the one i can relate and have some things in common with.

Q Delta Week 2009

This week of school was Q Delta Week. It is an annual festivity that both fraternity and soroity throw together during the week when we all get back from spring break. Sunday from Wednesday was the days that the Deltas took over and then Thursday until Saturday is the remaining days of the week that the Q Dogs take over. So far it has been alright, I mean this is the my first experience with Q Delta week. It is a big deal around here because people from different cities and states come from all over to enjoy the week. It all started Sunday with a church service with the the fraternity and soroity. Monday was a step show with both of them. Tuesday there was a date auction where boys and girls were auctioned off for dates. And to top it off the Deltas threw a pool party at the Paynce Center which was decent becuase my boys and I went to check out the girls in them swimsuits and chill with the homeboys. Yesterday the Q Dogs took over the week by having a step show then throwing a toga party at Club Empire last night. It was off the chain i wore a toga girls was feeling it and showing me love. It was real nice to see them sexy girls in them togas dressed sexy and them curvy bodies. Tonight was the step show but I didn't go and tomorrow to finish it off there will be a big picnic tomorrow alot of people will be attending it including me.

Cowboys release WR Terell Owens

Wednesday the Dallas Cowboys release veteran WR Terell Owens after signing three years with the Cowboys. He signed wit the Cowboys in 2006 and was released Wednesday of this week. Everybody was shocked at this decision because just last year Jerry Jones, the owner of the Cowboys, just signed him to a extension contract of 3 years for 12 million dollars. It seems like most people were shocked in some instance, but not really to disbelived about the release. Mostly everybody from Jerry Jones's camp were saying that if the Cowboys want to contend for a superbowl, it is important that they get rid of T.O. The nfl network knew what the conflict was going to be after going after a reciever like T.O. Many coaches in the Dallas Cowboys camp were saying that he was causing a void in the locker room and that the chemistry was way off. With him gone now, maybe they can rebuild and move forward. Alot of specualtion is going around asking how can they be better off with losing a big time weapon like him. He was a deep threat on the field, but he was aging. He is 35 years old, and people were starting to think that his skills were about to deminish. Now everybody is looking to see what the cowboys do next season without him. So far around the league, it seems like no other team has an interest in him. I'm kind of mad that he was released because i wanted him to get a ring with the Dallas Cowboys, but im happy because the team can become stable again now.

Spring Break is Coming

Not too long, like two weeks and counting until we get out of school for spring break. It's the next holiday we get out of school for. It's a week and two days long and I can't wait. There are so many things I have planned for that break. I want to go to Chicago and visit my family and friends. Everybody up there is waiting on me to come up there, it seems like spring break is my ticket to get up there. If i don't go to Chicago for spring break, maybe I can just chill wit my folks down here and kick it with them. I got to do something fun and enjoy myself while I'm out of school for that week. I heard it really goes down in Florida during this time. I would love to go there one time for spring break to see what it is like. Basically during spring break, I will be resting, chilling with my family and friends, and having fun. It's the next big break which is close to the second semester coming to an end. The second semester is over in May with only final exams to take. After that, then for me, school is over with. So spring break is like the jump start to getting ready for the semester to end. I don't even know what I'm going to get into during the break, I jus wanna have fun safely and enjoy the company of my friends and family. I would be very happy if I am a le to make it to Chicago for spring break. I have so much catching up to do with people up there if I go up there. This spring break is it is going down for sure.

Club Empire

Last night i went to the latest and new club that just opened in Hattiesburg called The Empire. At first I didn't feel like going out. I had a other plans of chilling with a friend girl because we haven't seen each other in a while and we just wanted to reunite our platonic relationship. So she said if i wasn't going to the club, that I could come to her dorm room and chill wit her. So while my boys on my form hall were getting ready to go out, everybody was askin was I going out. I said no becuase I had other plans and I wasn't in a clubbing mood. After I said that, the crew was like hell no man why are you fronting on us with a girl. I was like it ain't even like that I love and enjoy going out with the crew. So my roomate was like damn man come and have a great time with the click, so I was like ok imma do it big with m boys. Plus it was boy CoMan birthday, I decided that I would do it big for him. We all got fly and headed to the club. We get inside and just began to chill before because the club was jumping or crunk at first, but when more and more people began to swarm in that's when the club was set then. It was a nice vibe at the club I mean we saw pretty ladies and we was wilding out with one another and the folks we know from school. The club itself was kind of fly in its own way. It had an upstairs balcony in case if you just wanted to have a birdeye's view and look to see what was going down on the dance floor. The dance floor was big but the stage was kind of small and it got very hot in there. Other than that, my squad and I had a great time and went to the after spot which was Taco Bell.

Valentine's Day

That day of the year has come around again. That's right I'm talking bout a day of love. World wide romance surfaces through the atmosphere. On Febrarury 14, this famous day is known as Valetine's Day. This is a day in which two couples, two lovers, two friends, two admirers, etc come together and encouter a mutual and lovely affair. Basically this really is a holidays for girls because most guys dont receive any special gifts on Valentine's Day. The ladies are the recipients of high and expensive gifts on this day. Those gifts are for the admiration and out of pure love and affectionate feelings the guy has for the girl. Spectacular experiences are remembered on this day or should I say later on that evening. A mice typical romantic Valentine's Day treat to a girl would be maybe have roses, candy, ballons, and a candle light dinner at a fancy restaraunt. Then maybe later on kickback to a glass of wine, listen to some romantic slow jams, close by an open lit fire, with the lights down low. Now that is something that I would do because I'm that type of person. Just to show love to a lady that you really do care and feel very passionate towards that lady. Hahahaha i can remember one incident on this day that I almost got caught up between two girls who kind of disliked each other who both liked me. But I was able to pull it off and make them both feel good in a very special way.

Step Brothers

One of my most favorite comedy movies that just not too long came out is Step Brothers starring Will Ferell and John C. Reiley. It is about two brothers who are 39 and 40, they are forced to live each other because of their parents decided to get married. So Will Ferell and his mom moves in with John C. Reiley and his dad. At first they pure just hate each other, but they both share a common hate for Will Ferell's younger brother in the movie named Derek. Dereck is the younger brother who is the jerk. The step brothers start off as bitter rivals and play practical pranks on each other. Jon C. Reiley told Will Ferell there was one rule in the house, which was not to touch his drumset. So John was out in the afternoon, and Will passed by the drumset and messed with the drumset and broke a piece off the left drumstick. When John gets back and goes up stairs and notices that he drumset has been tampered with, so he questions Will. Then Will does the unthinkable and puts his testicles on the drumset which is sooooooooooo funny because that was totally unexpected and then they begin to fight and tear up the nice big house up. The big fight actually brangs them closer together as a bond. Their father gave them an ultimatum to find jobs in a month, or thet are forced to move out. The movie just gets even funnier. If you are a big comedy movie fan and a big fan of Will Ferell like I am, then u will love Step Brothers. The ironic twist and lesson of the movie is that these two men are 39 and 40 years old but are acting like their 12 and 13 but at the end of the movie they both realize to act their own age.

Superbowl Sunday

It's finally here, the Superbowl is this sunday and i can't wait. It will be between the Arizona Cardinals and Pittsburgh Steelers. Nobody would ever imagine that the Cardinals to be in this position to play for the Superbowl. Their opponents the Steelers are nasty and have the number one rated defense in the league. The Cardinals have an incredible offense which they run and gun. Their receiving core is excellent especially with the explosive, big, unstoppable Larry Fitzgerald. His counter part is Anquain Bouldin who is really fast and dangerous on the playing field. The Cardinals aren't known for defense but throughout the playoffs they have been exceptionally well like causing turnovers and three and outs. The Superbowl is the biggest phenomenon in the sports industry. Everybody will be tuning in to watch the teams face each other in Tampa, Florida. Parties will be going on everywhere to watch and celebrate this great sports event. even went home for the weekend to enjoy the game. I heard that my grandmother will be throwing a big party, so i must attend. There will be family and friends there to watch the game, s it will be a very fun and exciting atmospehere. Everybody thinks that the Steelers will win it, but i think the Cardinals will outplay them and upset the Steelers. I want the Cardinals to win because they have been playing real well. So this sunday, I will be tuned in and watching the spectacular known as the Superbowl

My Thoughts On The Inauguration

My thoughts on the inauguration is history in the making for the first African-American president sworned in. I am most excited that my ninety year old grandmother could witness this special day. Great leaders such as Dr. Rev. Martin Luther King, Rosa Parks, and Booker T. Washington just to name a few paved the way, so that Barack Obama could be the first African-American president. Once Barack Obama was swoorned in and he addressed the world, I thought his speech was brave. It also gave hope to go in a new direction and I felt confident when the speech was over. I know that Barack Obama faces many challenges because of the recession that the United States is in, but with his leadership, I am sure that will be better days. I thought the speech was assuring, there were many key points, and several occassions he stated and I quote, "We will get there together". For me personally, I thought this day would never come. I would always hear from the grapevine and speculations from many people about what it would be like to have an African-American running the White House. Now that day is here and the world is headed into a new generation. I just hope and pray that the Secret Service protect Barack Obama and his family as he tries to make the world a better place because there are some people who didn't never ever wanted to see this unfold. But guess hwat, it did and I am very proud and happy to be apart of it and witness it.
