Legendary Basketball Player in Gym
It started in my tenth grade year in gym class where my status to becoming a great legendary player in gym would rise. I had jus transferred from my old high school Callaway High School in Jackson, Ms to my new school Madison Central High School in Madison; Ms. The school went from tenth to twelth grade, so i was a freshman at the school even though i was in the tenth grade. Since my schedule was easy, I had to take gym because i knew they were going to play basketball in the class. Since i was an under classman, I jus started off easy by playing pick-up basketball games and games of 21. I knew I would be recognized by an upper classman and be asked to run the "big floor" which was full court in gym. Finally, that day I had been waiting for had finally come when a senior saw me playing a pick-up game and asked if I wanted to run on his team and i replied with a yes. I was ready to contribute to his team, so I just took my skills I learned from basketball camps of famous basketball players like Michael Finley and Tim Hardaway. I was taught ethics by Juawan Howard, Tyson Chandler, Steven Hunter, and Mark Cuban. I played two games on the senior's team and we won both of them and he said he liked my all around game and tole me I was a good player, so I took that and ran with it. Every since that day, my status rose to something really amazing throughout my senior year that I am very happy and satisfied with. Those great features I performed and witnessed in those gym classes from tenth to twelfth grade, are memories I will cherish for the rest of my life. I received praise from numerous amount of people who asked me why I didn't try out for the team and I just told them that I'm a legend in the gym, which some people couldn't claim or crown themselves.
